HAVE you seen Suger, the beloved pet of a Cowes family?
The Downer family from Place Road in Cowes are devastated at the disappearance of their pregnant white chihuahua named Suger.
Mum of three Mandi Downer, 44 – believes that someone has taken their two and half year old family pet from the garden after her partner let the pet out to go to toilet on Saturday morning (December 4).
Speaking to The Gazette from their Cowes home she said: ”My husband thinks that she may have got out through a hole in the fence that had been created by all the snow, but I think someone has taken her.”
“Our children Isabella and Delise are very upset.” said Mandi, “They just want her back. We all want her back home with us.”
My husband has been out looking all day to see if Suger has bedded down somewhere. We have reported her missing with the Dog Warden and phoned all the local vets.”
“We are worried about her health, She is two days overdue and is due to give birth, to her puppies” said Isabella. “We are appealing for people to check their shed and gardens to she if has taken shelter.”
A reward has been put up by the family for her safe return.
