Two people were treated by Ambulance service after a crash outside the Fighting Cocks this evening.
Emergency Services were called to the crash which happened on the Fighting Cocks crossroads, Newchurch. just after 5pm on Tuesday June 8 when two cars collided.
One of the cars had left the road and come to rest down nearby banking, the gazette has learn’t.
Police and two ambulances from IW Ambulance service attended to treat the drivers of both cars who treated for shock at the scene.
A spokesman from Hampshire and IW Police confirmed that both drivers were said to be conscious and were unhurt. She went on to confirm that no one was taken to hospital.
The accident casued traffic delays whilst police and recovery crews removed the vehicles.
