MAN CHARGED OVER ROBBERY
A RYDE MAN has been arrested and charged in connection with a robbery at a Ryde newsagent this evening (Friday November 19) .
Adam Ghali, of no fixed address, was charged with robbery this evening after being arrested on Thursday and questioned overnight by detectives .
The unemployed 25-year-old homeless man is set to appear at special court on Saturday at Newport Magistrates court after being remanded into custody overnight by police.
The robbery took place at the RS McColl store on Union Street, Ryde at around 10pm on Wednesday November 17, when it’s believed a large amount of cash was taken.
