FRIENDS and neighbours of a forty year old man found dead in his home have spoken of their disbelief of the death of a popular man.

The man who police haven’t named was found at his home in Broomland Close in St Helens just after four fifty on Saturday (June 19) he has been described as a lovely man who was friendly and chatty.

The body was found in his house by Police after neighbours alerted them to the fact that he hadn’t been seen for some time.

The man had lived in the close for over 10 years said one neighbour.

A woman who also asked to remain anonymous described him as the perfect gent.
