A BAD DAY FOR VENTNOR BLOG
AFTER reporting problems with the site a couple of days ago it appears Ventnor Blog has been hit hard and taken off-line.
Simon and Sally perry owners of the Blog have been working very hard to keep the site online but have been forced to close it down for much needed maintenance.
DANGER TO READERS?
The Gazette has heard that a virus or some sort of maliware may of infected the site and caused problems for the site owners. The website is now shut down to the public and is displaying the following message:
There is going to be a break in service today while we sort out some of the gubbins of the VB back-end. We normally do this kind of thing in the wee small hours, but today it has not worked out like that. We will be back as soon as we can be.
We know how hard it is for media on the Isle of Wight and hope they can get back up and running again soon/

Two days, is that all it is? It seems an eternity, god I miss them so much!
I stare at the ground in solemn contemplation as the haunting words of that old Joni Mitchell song echo through the deepest recesses of my mind, lamenting their absence…
