MAN THROWN THROUGH WINDOW

A man was thrown through a plate glass window and repeatedly punched after a fight broke out on the lower part of Union Street Ryde just after 12.50 on Saturday morning.
Police corned off the shop front of Cinnamon after the man was thrown through the plate glass
window of a shop front.
A rapid response paramedic treated the man in his mid 20 at the scene before being taken by ambulance to St Mary’s Hospital in Newport for treatment to a serious head injury.
Police arrested an other male also in his 20’s, who is currently in custody at Newport police station waiting questioning by officers.
One shocked clubber who works for Tesco’s who asked not to be named described the two men minutes before arguing outside a the liquid lounge bar. The argument spilled into the middle of the road, one of the men ran at the other one and threw him through the window. The bloke who went through the window had loads of blood all over him. It was pretty scary.
