SEX FIEND TOLD TO EXPECT SUBSTANTIAL PRISON SENTENCE

A father of six who claimed disability benefits was warned by a judge at Newport Crown Court today Wednesday (23 June) to expect a substantial prison sentence after being found guilty of six sex charges against children.
Evil sex fiend Benjamin Scott of Hunnyhill Newport was found guilty, by a jury of six men and six women, to six charges of sex with children under the age of 16.
Two of Scott’s victims were forced to relive their horrifying experiences in front of the jury during the eight-day trial.
The court heard that one victim who can’t be named for legal reasons fainted during an exam following a termination after falling pregnant with Scott’s baby.
Scott befriended his under-age victims who were 13 years old and still at school on social networking sites. The court heard that he tried to shower his underage victims with gifts and presents such as necklaces and teddy bears.
The abuse went on for a number of years and he engaged in full sex with them when they were 13, 14, and 15 years old.
In a personal victim impact statement from one of the victims read to the court, one of the girls said, “I am still being treated for depression and receiving psychiatric help for the abuse by Scott.”
The court heard she now suffers from depression and is unable to go out at night on her own.
The schoolgirl, who was 13 at the time of the abuse, stopped going to school after the termination when she was 15 years old. She told the court that she had lost a lot of weight and a lot of friends over having the abortion.
She now finds it hard to talk about babies and when they are brought into conversation she becomes very tearful as a direct result of the experience she has been through.
She went from a bubbly outgoing young girl to a person who is now very withdrawn.
She failed her GCSE exams as result of the pressures put on her by the pregnancy and the abortion and the court heard that she fainted whilst sitting one exam.
Scott belittled her. She said: “ I trusted Ben but he said that I was not good enough for him and he wanted, “A REAL WOMAN.”
The offences came to light when one of his victims started on a social worker course and had to complete an assignment on an experience in her life.
The course tutor reported this to the police who started a probe.
The jury who took less than four hours to find Scott guilty.
Scott’s current partner Kelly Falconer who is six months into a pregnancy and due to give birth in October supported him during the eight-day trial and sat at the back at the court. She broke down when the verdicts were given.
Scott stood dressed in a black suit shaking his head, clearly troubled, as the jury foreman replied guilty to six of the seven charges that had been brought against him.
Miss Fremantle for the prosecution said that as a result of the conviction Scott now fell into the bracket of a Schedule 15a offender, under the dangerous offenders act.
Barrister Mr. Tony Martinto for Scott made a bail application.
He asked for Scott to be released on bail so he could sort out his personal affairs, transfer his flat, benefits and his car over to his partner. He also wanted to visit his six other children.
Judge Ivory Pringle refused the bail application and remanded Scott into custody until the July 15 for sentencing.
He requested a pre sentence report to explore how dangerous Scott is to the public. He said, “ You made a 15 year old girl pregnant and carried on full sexual intercourse with her and the other victim over a long period of time. You have been found guilty of this and this will attract a signification prison sentence.”

I’m so pleased justice has been done,as i was worried that he might wriggle out of it. He’s managed to get away with it for years! He grew up in northumberland so god knows how many girls he’s done it to up here! I was sucked in by his lies, luckily i wasn’t with him long and plus i live 400 miles away. I feel for the young girls that have had their innocence taken away from them by this evil, manipulative, repulsive , liar! I hope he gets a very long prison sentence! Our children need to be protected from filthy animals like him, i think he should be put away for life and i mean life not the rubbish 25 years which they say is a life sentence! I believe that when he does get out he’ll do it all over again where he’s not known!

his current partner is my ex and he has been around my three children for the past 10 months or so makes my sick to think about it and i knew nothing about it carn’t belive the ex put my kids in that dangerous enviroment prison is to good for him they should take his life

I’m sorry to say this but any woman that knows, what he is and what he’s done, should not be allowed children. I knew nothing of what was going on, just what he and his mum told me. He made out that his ex’s had it in for him and thats why he was going to court. I came down there last july with my children and my daughters friend. He treat me like dirt left me in the house all the time using my car and money as i later found out to go and see kelly. I was trapped there as i knew no-one and wasn’t confident enough to drive back up north on my own, when i packed and said i was going because he was going to an all night party without me, he said to stop being stupid and i wouldn’t be able to find my way back. I now know he likes girls to be vunrable and that was the only way he could get at me was to take me 400 miles away to a place where i knew no-one then make me feel worthless! I paid for him to fly back and in the airport the charm came back and he was so sorry but it was the stress that made him act that way and he loved me more than anything and couldn’t wait for us to be together again. Well i dumped him but he managed to turn it all on me that i was insecure. So i got in touch with one of his ex’s to find out what was really going on, then i got in touch with all his ex’s and when i found out i nearly had a break down, the fact i had put not only my children but another child in that situation made me sick. I couldn’t eat or sleep in the end i went to the doctors and broke down, since then i have been on prozac. I’ve kept some of his txts as they are horrible, he is a nasty piece of work, but i think its just women he belittles and beats because he’s a bully and a coward!!

same as me anthea,he got engaged to me 3 times in 3 years,moved back in with me 3 times,told me he was going to take me abroad and get married.the only girls he has been with he really loved was me and diane his wife.he liked girls that couldnt drive so he could go out,and noone would no where he was.always carried wet ones,deodrant and aftershave in his car.he said the wet ones was for his kids and smellies for a refresh when he was hot.lol well we no now why.he had me up against the wall by my neck, then dropped me and pushed me and fell hit my head and my daughter ran next door and said my mums dead.he didnt give a shit he went out.he hit me several times with his baby in my arms.drug raid,on run from the police as driving while no insurance and tax.hit my eldest daughter bruised her arm and drove home with the car door open by her hair,no heels left on her boots.stayed out all night saying he was going to all night party but wasnt he was at the girls house he was seeing behind my back.
while in labour with his kid,he was sat there with his mobile plugged into there mains on labour ward,texting girls,then pissed off for over an hour,while in labour to see a girl,cant say her name,and just made it to see his boy born.then a week later he said he fucked off to newcastle,nice ah,hes just a true wanker.

I’m pleased you’re going for custody and i hope you get it, from what you have said they are well suited but they should be sterilised and kept away from decent people. This country is far to soft on criminals, they can actually get degree’s and learn new trades inside, where as us normal, decent people have to pay to go back to college or any kind of higher education. It’s so wrong prisons are now are like holiday camps that the tax payer is paying for. I actually told the police and cid that if he had touched my girls, i would of got a flight down there killed him then went and handed myself into the police and i would gladly do time for it. I have been lucky as non of my partners have ever hit me. But they are warned from the start of the relationship. Any man that can raise a hand to a woman is a coward!
well to let everyone know,his sentenced date has been moved to 9th august as the judge is away and wants to do his sentence,and its at winchester court now,this is what ive been told,so hope he gets his punishment he needs.
i understand all that has been said, what a nasty sleezy beast he is, but just for a minute you also have to think in a big pond, what about his family, he would have lied thru his back teeth to them also, as they would probably not known either,just remember they are not him and probably destroyed by this foul creature as well, my heart goes out to all, kids suffer the most as in time they will also be aware of the truth and that is the worst, the womens lives he has ruined and the poor kids he took innocence from, hopefully they can get every bit of help to get them thru it and they are able to get a life back. love and support to you all
I do feel for his kids, especially the older ones that can understand whats going on. I got close to his 2 oldest ones and i worry about them. With me living up north i ask about them. I do hope they’re ok and his mum too as she has health problems and this will not be helping her, she’ll be worried sick and probably not really know whats going on. I would love to go and see her and see that she’s okay ,as she is a lovely woman that does not deserve to be treat the way she has. But unfortunately she believes everything that comes out his mouth. She loves him with all her heart and he means the world to her. She can’t see him for what he is. He cares about no-one but himself, he hardly ever bothers with her apart from when he needs something. When he came up here last year to get me, he wasn’t even gonna call in to see her , untill i told him to. As it turned out she’d had a stroke a couple of weeks before hand but hadn’t told him, as she didn’t want to worry him. I was shocked as he didn’t seem bothered and only stayed for 15 minutes. She’s still working at 60 and it’s all for him. It’s upsetting as her judgement is clouded and her love is wasted.
hope all goes ok kev,with kids.glad you are a good dad to them,as all his kids he has never bothered with.but he made us put his last name on birth certificate then he buggered off,and never seen them again.but makes out its all the women that wont let him see them.but im getting legal advice now to change my boys name as hes nver been there for him,and him forging disability and benefits,he only payed 2.50 a week for maintenance.he is no dad to my child,and will never get that chance to see my little boy again,and mean that.

ive just seen this article,and very shocked,as dont live on the island anymore.i knew this man,last year 2009 in september,he was seeing me,he told me he was singleand only had two children.but reading all these comments,im glad i moved awayfrom this man,as he has lied over how many children he had,and women,he never mentioned about the young girls he had slept with,and his ex kelly,so could anyone tell me when he was with the girl called kelly???.and how many kids he actually have??i feel so sick as he was around my two young children to.he cried when i left the island,as he said he loved me and dont go,but i kept in touch by phone calls and texts.but had to go through family problems.but did see him a few times after i left as we met again on the island,but he still said he was single.Dont no what to say about this man,but a charmer,lier and so evil to do this to women,it did cut me up leaving the island and leaving him,as i really loved him,and he knew that but he said he loved me and we still keep in contact.But does’nt look like i knew half of it.

Hey every1. Well im the one who every1 seems to know about, but is lucky enuf to live 500 miles away. We all deserve a medal 4 the shit and anguish we’v been put through, and i hold a candle 4 you all, and my little girls brothers. Ive heard on the grapevine about possible sentences but does any1 have any real idea how long he got? One things for sure: not long enuf for the evil he’s done. I just wnt to forget the seven years of hell he put me and my daughter through, i think its gonna take awhile but i think him being locked away will help us all. God help us, and our poor babies, when they let the scum out. Love to you all xx D
One thing you can be sure off he wili get his come uppance in the nick. As awful as his actions are they won`t warrant him being set to a secure sex offenders unit as these are full of other real nasty bastards. He will probably go straight onto a wing in a category b nick. Someone will find out soon enough what he is in for hopefully, and believe me he will be crying himself to sleep at night.
