COASTGUARD RESPONSE TEAM CALLED TO BEACH
Bembridge auxiliary coastguard team were called in to support the IW ambulance service yesterday (Sunday 25 April) after a woman fell ill on the beach.
Ambulance paramedics on the scene made the request to coastguard for assistance just after 3pm
Bembridge coastguard fast response team was called to St Helens beach to assisted by providing a basket stretcher to help recover the ill female who was transferred to St Mary’s hospital by ambulance.
