DRIVER UNHURT AFTER CAR FLIPPED ON ITS ROOF
A CAR flipped onto its roof after hitting a hedge in Rookley this evening police say.
Emergency services were called to the Chequers Inn Road, Rookley at around 10.20pm on Sunday May 16.
The drivers had already freed themselves and were unhurt from the car.
Two fire appliances from Newport attended the incident to make the vehicle safe. The driver was checked over by ambulance crew who told medics he felt cold but was otherwise uninjured. The road was closed for a short time so the vehicle could be recovered
